Field Service Technician Basin Solutions Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time $35 - $45 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are currently looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to support a growing leader in onsite power generation and energy systems. This role would be a relocation to Tipton, MO. This role is hands on and field focused. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and commissioning diesel and natural gas generators while representing the company professionally on site.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on diesel and gas gensets Performing inspections, tune ups, preventative maintenance, and commissioning work Troubleshooting AC/DC controls, transfer switches, switchgear, battery chargers, block heaters, and related systems Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics Completing service documentation accurately and professionally Operating service trucks and field equipment safely and efficiently Participating in after hours emergency service work as required What we are looking for: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in power generation or a related industry Strong understanding of generators, diesel engines, controls, and electrical systems Knowledge of AC systems up to 600VAC and DC fundamentals Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable using diagnostic software and troubleshooting tools Strong communication and customer service skills Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, email communication, and digital service reporting systems Valid driver's license required, CDL considered an asset or willingness to obtain one This is an excellent long term opportunity with a company that is continuing to grow aggressively within the distributed energy and power generation sector.
