Yard and Field Technician

Position Overview This is a hands-on position that combines field service work and yard support. Yard support will include kitting aerobic tanks, operating heavy machinery, special projects, and assisting with day-to-day yard and production tasks. The ideal candidate will also help diagnose and repair customers' storm shelters in the field. This role requires solid mechanical sense, reliability, and the ability to work well with others — especially customers. All tools and equipment will be provided. Any job travel will be in a Company provided vehicle. Key Responsibilities Shelter Repair Travel to job sites to inspect and repair storm shelters Diagnose causes of leaks or other reported issues Perform necessary sealing, patching, or part replacements Interact professionally with customers on site and phone Maintain accurate notes on job software for repairs performed Yard Kitting aerobic tanks Assist with unloading trucks and receiving deliveries Help with product assembly, shelter prep, and equipment repairs Move and organize products and materials using forklift or other heavy equipment Special projects Assist with production tasks as directed by the Tulsa Manager Qualifications Experience 1-2 years of general labor, repair, or maintenance experience preferred Customer-facing or field service experience a plus Mechanical aptitude and comfort working outdoors in all seasons Valid driver's license required with clean driving record Skills Detail oriented Responsible Organized Reliable Handy Customer Service - in person, phone calls, text messaging Can follow directions and problem solve Able to read maps/GPS effectively Good communication skills Forklift experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Capable of working in outdoor and shop environments, including hot/cold weather. Comfortable standing, bending, climbing ladders, lifting, and using tools for extended periods. Work Environment Travel required for field work (usually under 2 hours from Tulsa, potential for occasional overnight trips) Monday-Friday full-time schedule; occasional overtime may be needed Safety-sensitive workplace: requires adherence to company safety policies.
