You'll play a critical role in helping customers recover from unexpected losses while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, and property damage losses Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency response schedule Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, and moisture control services Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment Utilize moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and other restoration tools Conduct daily moisture inspections and document drying progress Complete project documentation using mobile devices and restoration software Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance representatives, and project stakeholders Follow IICRC standards and company procedures on every project Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians when assigned Promote and maintain a safe work environment Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Current IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification Minimum of 2 years of water mitigation or restoration experience Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Certification Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) Certification Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) Certification Experience with Xactimate, DASH, MICA, Encircle, or similar restoration software Previous experience leading mitigation crews Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday Ability to work in confined spaces, crawl spaces, attics, and varying environmental conditions Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary Join a Team That Invests in You At Lovett Inc., we don't just restore properties—we restore peace of mind.
