Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by various types of damage, ensuring that they are cleaned and restored to their original condition. The Restoration Technician will utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Have a Valid Driver's License to drive company vehicles to job sites and an insurable driving record.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Effectively work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Strong attention to details.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
Preferences:
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience with mold remediation practices is most desirable.
Employer Notes:
- Employer will provide training.
- Employer will conduct drug screen, background check, and DMV records check upon job offer.
Job Duties:
- Drive to work site and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Assess and evaluate damage to properties, determining the best course of action for restoration.
- Perform water damage restoration, including extraction of water and drying of affected areas.
- Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and thorough removal of mold from properties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning, repairing, and restoring damaged areas.
- Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Days and Hours:
Full-time, 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday, schedule to be arranged by employer, On-call rotation shift, and Overtime hours. Wages start at $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Bonus opportunities and Overtime pay.
