Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by performing warranty remediation, job corrections, inspections, and minor installation work. This position represents Kitchen Magic in customers' homes and ensures all service work meets our standards of craftsmanship, professionalism, and communication.Job Responsibilities:
Perform remediation of warranty items and installation of minor kitchen remodel projects. Assist with correcting installation issues for ongoing kitchen remodels. Conduct job inspections for both active and warranty projects and provide detailed reports to the office. Perform countertop removals for countertop-only contracts. Follow service schedules provided by office staff and communicate any variances with customers and internal teams as needed. Document service results daily, including materials used, time to complete work, and explanations for incomplete services. Maintain proper inventory of materials and tools within the company vehicle. Maintain company vehicle and ensure all required service documentation is current. Perform all field work to a high standard of craftsmanship while maintaining a professional and courteous customer presence. Other job responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications and Experience Required:
Education Required:
High school diploma or GED required.Years of experience:
3-5 years of experience in kitchen remodeling, construction, finish carpentry, or general carpentry required.Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed Carry 25lbs regularly, and stand for up to 8 hours per day Must be able to bend, reach, squat, twist and kneel.Skill requirements:
Ability to travel to customer homes and job sites to take accurate field measurements Must be able to carry and present product samples, tools, or materials weighing up to 15 lbs occasionally Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and navigate active construction or remodeling environments as neededSimilar jobs in Allentown, PA
