Job Description

Position Title:
Field Service Technician Description Job Overview The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor. Responsibilities Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipment Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner Performs technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipment Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary Keeps parts inventory current Participates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territory Provides "best in the business" customer service Adheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS Skills/Requirements High School diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years' old Current driver's license and vehicle insurance is mandatory Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus Must have 2 years' experience in electronics and/or computer networking Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook) Understands basic AC/DC electronics Basic understanding of computer networking Sound problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude, teamwork mentality A flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
