Position Summary We are hiring Field Technicians to perform water meter installations and changeouts across various service areas. This role requires flexibility, travel readiness, and a strong mechanical skillset. Technicians will be dispatched weekly to work in different regions, with all travel expenses covered. Key Responsibilities for Field Technicians Install, replace, and service water meters at customer locations Work independently in the field while maintaining professionalism with clients Follow daily work orders and document all completed tasks accurately Communicate with the dispatch team to report progress and resolve issues Ensure safety and care of all tools, equipment, and company vehicle Qualifications for Field Technicians Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic plumbing experience required HVAC experience preferred , but not required Comfortable traveling and staying overnight during the workweek Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied outdoor conditions Must pass a background check Compensation & Travel Perks Commission-based pay (based on completed jobs) Company vehicle provided for work use Hotel accommodations and gas fully covered Daily per diem provided for meals and incidentals while traveling Benefits (Full-Time Employees) Medical insurance (available after hire) After 1 year of employment : Paid time off (PTO) Vacation time 401(k) retirement plan enrollment Why Work with Kentrel?
