Job Description
Join a growing industrial equipment team as a Senior Field Service Technician supporting the installation, startup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced manufacturing machinery. This role combines electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting with customer training and equipment commissioning at client sites. Ideal candidates will have strong field service experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel frequently to customer locations. Responsibilities Install, commission, and start up new and refurbished industrial machinery at customer sites. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service repairs on equipment. Train operators and maintenance personnel on machine setup, programming, and operation. Interface with customers to provide technical support and resolve equipment issues. Assist with equipment preparation, testing, loading, unloading, and repairs at the facility. Support equipment demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events both onsite and offsite. Maintain accurate service records and communicate project updates to internal teams and customers. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel. Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in industrial equipment environments. Experience reading technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, and pulling. Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or technical degree in a related field. 5+ years of field service, maintenance, or industrial equipment experience. Experience training machine operators and maintenance personnel. Knowledge of control circuits, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems. Experience with machine assembly, alignment, precision measurements, rigging, forklifts, and overhead cranes. Previous experience commissioning manufacturing or production equipment.
