Job Description

Position Summary:
We're seeking a hands-on, motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory equipment at customer sites. While full training will be provided on our specific equipment, candidates must bring a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and traveling to different locations. When not in the field, you'll contribute to warehouse operations and support other company initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Travel to customer sites for installation, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment Perform diagnostics and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Clean and paint equipment as part of routine maintenance and refurbishing Train end-users on basic operation and maintenance of equipment Complete service reports and maintain accurate records using our ERP system Occasionally respond to after-hours and emergency service calls Assist with general warehouse tasks when not in the field
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience in a technical or service-based role, preferably working with lab or similar equipment Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics Confident communicator with professional demeanor and customer-facing experience Comfortable using computers; ERP system experience is a plus (NetSuite) Willing and able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods of time.
