Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restoration Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster recovery, utilizing your skills in cleaning, construction, and restoration to help clients recover from unexpected events. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure efficient, high-quality service that transforms distressed spaces back into safe, healthy environments. Responsibilities Perform cleaning and debris removal using hand tools and power tools to prepare damaged areas for restoration. Conduct fire and water damage restoration tasks, including moisture detection, drying, and dehumidification processes. Assist with mold remediation efforts by identifying affected areas and applying appropriate removal techniques. Support construction activities such as minor repairs, demolition, and installation to restore property integrity. Operate various tools safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. Document work performed through detailed reports and communicate progress clearly with team members and clients. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction practices is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures during all restoration activities. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively. Willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning, fire restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and other specialized services.
