REQUIRED
this client is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of experience in the US military with a Mechanical/Electrical MOS • Diesel technicians, heavy equipment mechanics, aircraft technicians Must be skilled with diagnostics, schematics, and 480V systems. Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician in Lancaster PA (80 miles W of Philadelphia.) This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a rapidly growing with nationwide locations that invests heavily in its work-force. There is unlimited room for career growth through on-site, factory-approved, computer-based and classroom training (to include training on forklift repair, if you can bring a solid Mechanical background to the table!) Role is 90% in the field with real-time troubleshooting - local travel only, home nightly
Compensation:
$30.00-40.00/hour base (+ OT, company vehicle + gas card, $2,500 interest-free tool loan.)
What You Will Do:
Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment. Perform maintenance on newer battery-powered equipment, as well as traditional diesel and gasoline industrial machinery; conduct diagnostics to identify equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot issues. Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals related to forklifts and other various construction equipment. Will conduct preventative maintenance and inspections; address any issues as needed. Communicate repair needs, provide estimates, and explain completed work to customers. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensure satisfaction and work with professionalism at all times. Maintain a clean and professional service van; report maintenance needs promptly.
Education and Work Experience:
Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (Mechanical/Electrical MOS required) Strong knowledge of machine diagnostics, schematics, and technical drawings required Personable and professional demeanor, excellent customer service acumen Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Availability to work overtime, including occasional emergency service or weekend callouts On-site interview process: Technical Q&A (will discuss diagnostics, schematics, repairs) Soft skills assessment (must possess clear communication, present with professionalism) Facility tour
