Job Description

Espresso Machine Technician An Espresso Machine Technician is a position that ranges from Apprentice to Master Technician. Apprentice Techs begin having basic mechanical skills, while a Master Technician will comprehensively understand the theory and practice of working on various coffee equipment and understands how equipment impacts coffee flavor. This role requires the eagerness to learn about coffee, water, electrical theory, mechanical theory and application. The ability to work hard and to treat co-workers and customers with respect is the Golden Standard for Espresso Analyst. Espresso Analyst services a wide range of equipment including some of these brands: Franke Coffee Systems, Fetco, La Marzocco, Slayer, Synesso, Cimbali, Nuova Simonelli, Mahlkonig, Compaq, Bunn Requirements/Experience Mechanical aptitude Knowledge of tools/ability to use basic hand tools, Ability to work with others and have strong communication skills Read and interpret instruction manual Able to lift 100lbs Must have clean and valid Driver's license Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to Being punctual Reporting to manager Completing tasks in a timely and professional manner If a Field Tech, being flexible for travel Keeping busy while in the shop Keeping company property clean and in good working order
