Field Service Technician Direct Hire | Nationwide Travel | Remote-Based We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support commercial and industrial boiler systems for clients nationwide. This is a hybrid/remote role with extensive travel to customer sites and occasional reporting to the main facility. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of hands-on boiler service experience and a strong background in industrial electrical or HVAC systems . Position Overview The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, warranty work, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaged boiler and hydronic systems. Technicians work independently in the field, traveling nationally to customer sites and serving as the primary technical resource during service visits. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (½-hour lunch), with flexibility based on customer needs Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, install, and commission hydronic and boiler systems Perform combustion analysis and system performance testing Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems (240V/480V) using prints and schematics Navigate, troubleshoot, modify, and create basic PLC programs Lead complex equipment troubleshooting and document corrective actions Replace or repair defective mechanical and electrical components Provide preventative maintenance and emergency repair services Disassemble and inspect malfunctioning boiler room equipment Apply Plumbing and Mechanical Code knowledge during installations and repairs Accurately document service calls using field service software Maintain a clean, organized service van and job site Participate in on-call rotations as required Attend in-house and industry training, staff meetings, and technical updates Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience servicing commercial or industrial boilers Strong troubleshooting skills in boiler and hydronic systems Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis Industrial electrical experience (reading prints, wiring, troubleshooting) HVAC experience within an industrial or commercial setting Ability to work independently while maintaining professional customer interaction Preferred Skills PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Knowledge of Plumbing and Mechanical codes Experience documenting work through field-based service software Strong organizational and communication skills Compensation & Perks Company-provided service truck, tools, gas card, and Amex Schedule and manage your own travel Daily OT after 8 hours worked Time and a half on Saturdays | Double time on Sundays Direct hire with benefits starting the first of the month after start Company covers 80% of medical, dental, and vision premiums Short- and long-term disability & life insurance 401(k) with 50% company match after 30 days Tuition reimbursement after 1 year 8 paid holidays 2 weeks vacation + 3 floating holidays 5 sick days (after 120 days, per NJ law) Work Environment & Schedule 100% remote-based with national travel to client sites Typical travel: up to 3 nights per week (may vary by project) Weekend and overnight travel may be required Independent field work following training Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Delanco, NJ. DAILY OT

(OT on anything over 8 hrs worked), Saturdays are time and a half, Sundays are double time direct hire position Benefits the first of the month after they start work. The company pays 80% of medical, dental and vision cost.
