At Hydro Service & Supplies, we service high‑purity water systems that customers rely on every day. When something goes wrong, it affects their work, their timelines, and sometimes their stress level. Our technicians are often the face of the company in those moments. This isn't just a "fix the equipment and leave" role. It's about staying professional under pressure, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of the work you do — even when it's challenging. What the job looks like day‑to‑day: You'll spend your days traveling to customer sites, often in busy, urban areas. You'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair water treatment equipment like RO systems, softeners, carbon filters, pumps, UV systems, and storage tanks. You'll work independently most of the time, but never without support from the team when needed. You'll interact directly with customers — some calm, some frustrated, all concerned about their water quality. Being able to stay steady, professional, and solution‑focused is important here. This role is a good fit if you: Take pride in doing quality work, not cutting corners Can stay composed when customers are stressed Like hands‑on, technical work Communicate clearly and respectfully Take responsibility and follow through Want stability and a long‑term career, not a short stop This probably isn't a fit if you: Prefer minimal customer interaction Get easily frustrated under pressure Just want to "get through the day" Aren't interested in learning and growing What we're looking for: High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to pass background check and DOT physical, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or field service experience is helpful — but we're willing to train the right person. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime, on‑call rotation, and occasional overnight travel after training.
