Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence off - site equipment installation, maintenance and repair. In this role, you will be the company representative responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining a variety of food packaging and processing systems at client locations. Your energetic approach will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing customers' production throughput. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of food packaging and processing system off-site at customer's location across the US. Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment including food packaging and processing system that enable customer to sell to their customers. Lead on-site service calls by providing clear instructions, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed with customer's maintenance and production personnel. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate, promoting proactive maintenance strategies. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future improvements. Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide guidance on proper equipment operation. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in mechanial and electrical systems Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to different job sites. $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
