Field Service Technician

We are seeking a full-time Appliance Field Service Technician. The duties of this position will be performed inside of our customers' homes diagnosing, testing, repairing, and installing residential and some commercial appliances. We will provide training, uniforms, vehicle and all tools needed. After a specific waiting period the employee will be aloud to take the vehicle home. Typical hours are Monday through Friday off around 4pm. The candidate must be comfortable driving for up to 1.5 hours at a time. T he ideal candidate will have the following skills: Excellent Communication Skills Work well independently Be able to learn and use new Point of Sale system on mobile application. Well groomed Have and use critical thinking skills in sometimes stressful situations. Be able to articulate themselves well with customers that have no industry knowledge on a regular basis. Be comfortable working in consumers homes. "No experience is needed, and we are willing to train the right candidate that is looking to start a career that they intend to stay in for a long period of time." General electrical theory or understanding how to use a multi meter is a plus. Sealed system knowledge is a plus, as we are the largest provider of sealed system repairs on domestic refrigeration in middle TN and Northern Alabama. Lack of this knowledge will not bar employment, but it will be required for the candidate to study and obtain EPA certification within 90 days of employment. The candidate will have to pass a 7-year background check and pass drug testing which will be renewed periodically. Regular schedule is Monday-Friday with alternating Pay is dependent upon experience, but the average first year technician makes in the middle-forty-thousand range (salary) by the end of their first year. •Please submit resume and application through job ad or email only.•

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year starting wage depending on experience. Pay scales up after this. Top tier senior technicians can expect to make $80,000 a year plus.
