The company expertise is in applying instrumentation and controls to a wide variety of industrial processes from simple loop control to plant-wide data acquisition and control systems utilizing PLC's, PC's and Networks. they assist and guide through the complete installation of a new/rebuild boiler system and they are also have been approved to be a supplier of UL listed Panels.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a service technician with a special focus on troubleshooting and maintaining industrial/commercial steam and hot water boilers, boiler room operation, and auxiliary equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Ability to follow electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and blueprints. Knowledge of PLC applications (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA systems Most of the work is local. Travel to customers within mostly Michigan.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for retrofit and repair of boilers, burners, and accessories, utilizing knowledge of steam and hot water theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees. Document work by completing daily paperwork on each job. Full mobility is required, including the ability to use hands to finger, handle, and feel. Ability to crawl into confined spaces. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds. #
