Redmond & Son, Inc. is hiring a Field Service & Training Technician to install, train, and support Career Technical Education (CTE) equipment across the Southeastern United States. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in CNC machinery, industrial equipment, HVAC/dust collection systems, or technical installations who also enjoy working directly with customers. Our team operates with a hands-on, collaborative approach, and this role will work directly with ownership , providing: Clear communication and fast decision-making Strong support during onboarding and training Direct visibility into company operations and growth Responsibilities Install CTE lab environments including furniture and technical equipment Set up and service dust collection systems and welding fume extraction systems Install and support CNC routers, plasma tables, and laser engravers Train instructors and staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting Provide field service, maintenance, and technical support Travel throughout the Southeast for installs and service calls Assist with staging, prep, and fulfillment at Newnan, GA facility on non-travel days Qualifications Mechanical and electrical aptitude required Experience with CNC equipment, HVAC systems, or industrial machinery preferred Strong communication skills and ability to train end users Ability to travel regionally (Southeastern U.S.) Must live within commuting distance of Newnan, GA Benefits $60,000 - $72,000 annual salary (Based on Experience) Company vehicle provided Health insurance or pre-tax health allowance (individual) Simple IRA retirement plan option Paid major holidays Primarily Monday-Friday schedule Schedule 8-10 hour shifts (typical) Monday to Friday Travel required Work Location Field-based + Newnan, GA office/warehouse/showroom Apply Today Join William J.
