Job Description

Job Overview The field technician is responsible for providing technical support and programming of pump skid systems at customer sites and within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures systems are installed safely, meet engineering specifications, and function properly to support customer operations. The technician works closely with engineering and production to deliver high-quality, reliable systems that meet or exceed customer expectations. This position requires travel to customer sites and hands-on technical expertise in mechanical systems, piping, and industrial equipment. Salary is commensurate with experience and will be discussed further during the interview process. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record. High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification, trade school training, or associate degree in mechanical, industrial, or related field preferred. Minimum two (two) years of experience in industrial equipment installation, pump systems, or skid systems preferred. Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, piping systems, valves, and controls. Requires working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), including basic troubleshooting, system interaction, and startup support. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical specifications. Experience with mechanical assembly, alignment, and system troubleshooting. Familiarity with control panels, instrumentation, and electrical connections. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Willingness and ability to travel within the U.S. (up to 70% or as required). Local and regional candidates within a reasonable commuting distance of Huntingdon Valley, PA are strongly preferred, as this position requires regular on-site collaboration and support. Working conditions This position operates in both manufacturing and field environments, including customer facilities, construction sites, and industrial locations. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature changes, noise, and moving mechanical equipment. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and may involve extended workdays based on project schedules and installation timelines. The employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated spaces for extended periods of time. The position requires regular lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in proximity to industrial machinery, electrical systems, piping systems, and pressurized equipment.
