Technical Field Service Technician Industrial Equipment Direct Hire

NOTE:

This is a hybrid shop + field role (approximately 80% shop, 20% travel). Most work is performed in a Buffalo-based facility with occasional travel for installations and customer support. $55k-$65k base (flexible), $750/month benefits stipend, mileage reimbursement, training Hands-on training provided for candidates with mechanical or technical aptitude Work in a shop setting testing, troubleshooting, and preparing equipment for deployment The Company International organization supporting industrial and technical equipment across North America Works with high-volume, specialized machinery and electro-mechanical systems Small, collaborative team environment with strong technical mentorship and training Stable growth environment with long-term career potential The Position Perform unboxing, assembly, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) on incoming equipment shipments Troubleshoot and resolve electro-mechanical and system-level issues prior to deployment Prepare, configure, and package machines for shipment to customer sites Provide remote support and occasional on-site field service for key customers Travel periodically (every 1-2 months) for installs, support, or troubleshooting Work closely with internal teams and manufacturing partners to resolve technical issues The Detail $55k-$65k base (flexible depending on experience), $750/month benefits stipend 2-5+ years of hands-on experience or open to candidates with: Field service, maintenance, or equipment repair experience Hands-on backgrounds in HVAC, automotive, industrial, military, or mechanical trades Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read schematics preferred Experience with installation, setup, testing, or repair of technical equipment preferred Comfortable working in a hands-on shop/warehouse environment (majority of role) with occasional travel Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S. (passport or enhanced ID required) Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
