Overview We are seeking a dedicated Fire Restoration Technician to join our dynamic team, specializing in restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other environmental damages. This role involves executing comprehensive restoration procedures to return affected areas to their original condition efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the restoration industry. Responsibilities Perform fire and water damage restoration tasks, including debris removal, cleaning, and structural drying. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to dismantle damaged structures and prepare sites for reconstruction. Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols and industry standards. Execute cleaning operations such as carpet cleaning, surface cleaning, and odor removal to restore property aesthetics. Assist with the use of specialized equipment for water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes. Support construction activities related to restoration projects, including minor repairs and rebuilds. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for project records. Follow safety guidelines rigorously to ensure a secure working environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of restoration projects. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services is preferred. Knowledge of fire restoration techniques, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in restoration work. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients professionally. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is desirable. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or after-hours as needed.
