This position is responsible for handling, packing, inventorying, cleaning, and transporting customers' personal property during restoration projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labor, organization, and professionalism while working in customers' homes during stressful situations. Key Responsibilities Pack, wrap, and safely transport customer contents during fire and water losses Inventory and tag items accurately using company systems Photograph and document contents before removal Identify and separate salvageable vs. non-salvageable items Load and unload box trucks efficiently and safely Clean contents using approved restoration methods (when applicable) Maintain organization of stored contents in warehouse vaults Assist with pack-back and reset of contents after restoration is complete Follow all company SOPs, safety guidelines, and job site protocols Maintain a clean and professional appearance on job sites Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work long hours (8-10+ hour days when needed) Comfortable working in environments affected by fire, water, mold, or debris Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license (required) Experience in moving, restoration, construction, or warehouse work preferred Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to work in a team and follow direction Good communication and customer service skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience with fire/water restoration or pack-out services Familiarity with inventory systems or Xactimate line items DOT/box truck driving experience Work Environment Residential and commercial job sites Warehouse setting for cleaning and storage Fast-paced, physically demanding environment Why Work With Us Steady, full-time work Opportunity for advancement Hands-on training provided Work that makes a real difference helping customers recover after a loss Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities available [Add benefits here if applicable: health insurance, PTO, etc.] Schedule Monday - Friday (some evenings/weekends as needed for emergency work) Join us as a Content Technician - Fire & Water Restoration and become an essential part of a fast-paced industry dedicated to restoring safety and peace of mind for our clients.
