Job Description

  • Make a Difference in Your Community join PDS Tech as a Field Service Specialist in Columbia, SC!
  • Pay Rate:
  • $22/hour |
  • Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • We are seeking customer?focused
  • Field Service Technicians
  • to support a residential energy efficiency program delivered in partnership with a local electric utility.
In this role, you'll install energy?saving products in customers' homes, educate residents on reducing energy use, and help qualify households for additional free efficiency services. This is a highly active, people?oriented role ideal for candidates who enjoy hands?on work, travel, and making a positive impact. The contract may be

  • What You'll Do
  • Field Installation & Customer Service
  • + Install energy?efficient products in residential homes, including: + LED light bulbs + Low?flow water aerators & showerheads + Hot water tank insulation jackets + Pipe insulation + Door & window weatherstripping + Other approved energy?saving measures + Educate customers on reducing electrical consumption and saving money + Qualify homes for additional free efficiency services when applicable
  • Documentation, Safety & Travel
  • + Accurately document all installations and measures + Report quality results to the Field Supervisor + Identify and document safety concerns to management + Safely drive work trucks/box vans between homes, offices, and hotels + Participate in neighborhood kickoff and outreach events + Travel

  • What We're Looking For
  • Required Qualifications
  • + •High School Diploma or equivalent•+ •Valid Driver's License•+ Ability to pass: + •Pre?
