Install Technician

An exciting opportunity is available for an Installer in the Knoxville area! Gasket Guy, a supplier of commercial refrigeration gaskets, is looking for candidates to join our impressive Knoxville team! We have an immediate opening in the area for an Installation Technician. Territory coverage is local with no overnight travel required. This Outside technician position is responsible for installing refrigeration gaskets, hardware, and other services to a wide variety of market segments, including hospitals, life sciences, laboratories, food packagers, restaurants, and hotels. Primary responsibilities include installing refrigeration gaskets and door hardware in a timely and flawless manner. Building new sales and working with clients who are already using our team. This is a fast-growing company in the market, and this team will be expanding in the near future.

SKILLSET

HVAC or Refrigeration experience is a huge plus Highly competitive Comfortable conducting face-to-face dealings and updates with the local customers daily Strategic thinking Disciplined work habits Comfortable with basic tools Able to work well with clients and staff

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment Strong desire to be in the field Ability to overcome obstacles and retain a positive attitude Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record Basic understanding of simple hand tools and a mechanical mindset 2 years of experience, handyman-type knowledge is a plus
