Full-Time (Hourly) Overview OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical equipment in the field. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, safety-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting and working independently. As a technician, you will be the front line of service, ensuring critical systems such as POS equipment, alarms, and security devices operate efficiently across client locations. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and replace electro-mechanical equipment Service devices such as cash registers, coin changers, alarms, and POS systems Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions Complete service requests and maintenance repairs in a timely, professional manner Review work orders, manuals, and technical drawings Utilize testing devices, hand tools, and power tools Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation Travel 30-40% overnight, including support for installations and upgrades Maintain accurate documentation using company systems and mobile devices Requirements Must Have Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and be a strong problem-solver Strong attention to safety and adherence to safety protocols Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation Ability to travel 30-40% overnight Good driving record Proficiency with computers and smartphones Nice to Have Experience with POS systems (Verifone, NCR) Experience with alarm systems Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment Ability to complete service requests professionally and efficiently Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, and technical drawings Experience using testing devices and hand/power tools Willingness to support installations and upgrades in other regions Benefits Paid Time Off 401(k) Retirement Plan Health Care Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Overtime Pay On-the-Job Training Per Diems Growth Opportunities
