Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lead Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital force in restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinate mitigation projects, and ensure the highest standards of restoration are achieved efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help clients recover from devastating incidents and return to normal life swiftly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a tangible difference in people's lives through expert restoration services. Duties Lead and supervise water mitigation projects, ensuring timely and quality completion of restoration tasks Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to plan and execute mitigation strategies Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cleaning, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and water extraction Perform detailed inspections to assess damage severity and determine appropriate restoration procedures Train and mentor technicians on industry best practices for water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and construction techniques Ensure all safety protocols are followed during mitigation activities to maintain a secure work environment Manage inventory of restoration supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for ongoing projects Experience Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervisory or team lead roles in restoration or construction settings Hands-on knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and general property sanitation Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in restoration projects Strong understanding of safety standards related to asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and general construction practices Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients, team members, and external partners Industry certifications such as IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) or equivalent for WRT required, ASD preferred. $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
