Our work supports essential infrastructure projects by keeping systems operating safely and efficiently during maintenance, rehabilitation, and emergency operations. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Field Service Technician / Field Laborer who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, solving field challenges, and being part of a professional team delivering high-quality work. Compensation & Benefits $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Company vehicle and fuel card Company-issued tools, PPE, and safety equipment Company credit card for approved travel and business expenses Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Two weeks Paid Time Off Six paid holidays (holiday work compensated at double-time pay) Ongoing training and advancement opportunities within a growing company Position Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician, you will assist with the installation, operation, maintenance, and removal of temporary bypass pumping systems used on municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
Primary responsibilities include:
Install temporary bypass systems including pumps, HDPE piping, hoses, valves, fittings, and related equipment. Assist with HDPE pipe fusion and pressure testing activities. Monitor operating systems, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete minor field repairs. Safely dismantle, flush, clean, and prepare equipment for transportation following project completion. Operate company trucks, trailers, pumps, telehandlers, skid steers, fusion equipment, generators, and various power tools. Load, unload, transport, and organize materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment. Complete daily equipment inspections, operational logs, and project documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following all company and customer safety requirements. Represent H2O Infrastructure Solutions professionally while working with customers, contractors, municipalities, and project teams. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Construction, utility, mechanical, plumbing, or industrial experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Willingness to travel as projects require Ability to successfully complete background screening Ability to routinely lift 50-75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Work Environment This position is primarily field-based and involves outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions and construction environments. Projects may require early mornings, extended workdays, overnight travel, or emergency response depending on customer needs. Safety is a core value at H2O Infrastructure Solutions.
