Maintain various manufacturers' equipment in service area. Gain detailed technical knowledge of various displays and controllers through formal classroom and online training as well as through on the job training. 2. Work with customers' Field Service personnel, end users and other personnel to solve technical issues. 3. Provide on-site technical service and maintenance for all display and control equipment. 3.1 Will be dispatched to customer sites for service calls. 3.2 Schedule may include nights and weekends hours, including, but not limited to event support and on call situations. 3.3 Follow appropriate standardized procedures for each type of service event; this does include onsite technical work and administrative activities associated with technical work. 4. Assist as requested in training end users and other technical staff. 5. Complete appropriate written and online documentation and feedback for onsite service and installations. 6. Travel via ground or air to customer sites within the area; company vehicle provided for daily use. 7. Competently represent Beacon to our customers and end users, in a confident and professional manner. 8. Work effectively as a team member assisting when and where needed. Become knowledgeable about and follow company procedures. 9. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 1. Associate's Degree (preferred) in Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or other technical related field preferred. 2. Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license and must be able to meet and maintain a qualified driver's status according to the Beacon Motor Vehicle Policy. Motor vehicle record will be verified. 3. Able to work at heights, work from a ladder and ability to carry ladder/tools/parts from vehicle to work site. Able to safely operate a variety of aerial lifts (training provided). 4. Available to work evenings and/or weekends to support facility schedules. May include working with short-notice and on-call responsibilities. 5. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. 6. Must be self-motivated, organized and responsible to plan, execute, and document. 7. Must be able to complete work responsibilities with little supervision. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment. 8.

Strong computer skills:

Internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheets, and customers' proprietary programs. 9. Ability to work effectively as a team member, assisting when and where needed. 10. Background check will be conducted. Must be able to pass State of Texas Fast Pass background check. 11. We do not sponsor immigration visas for this position.
