Field Service Technician Location:
Austin, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our team in delivering accurate laboratory calibrations and uphold stringent quality standards. Our team is focused on ensuring the highest reliability and compliance for equipment performance within an ISO 17025-accredited environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform calibrations on customer equipment both in the laboratory and at customer sites, ensuring precise and timely execution. Support ongoing maintenance and adherence to
ISO 17025
accreditation standards and the Quality Management System. Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of calibration laboratory processes and procedures. Participate in internal and external audits, providing technical insight and supporting reviews of laboratory nonconformance.
Required:
In-laboratory calibration experience or equivalent testing background. Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 3 years of experience in electrical measurement, or formal calibration training plus 4 years of experience in electrical device measurement calibration. Willingness and ability to travel, with less than 20% travel expected. Availability to work a second shift following initial training (approximately 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM), with initial training scheduled for first shift (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
