Location:
Austin, TX Pay:
Up to $31/hour We are hiring a Field Service Technician with calibration expertise to support a high-performance ISO 17025-accredited laboratory . This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electrical measurement, metrology, and instrumentation calibration , offering both lab-based and occasional field service work.
Schedule Requirement Training:
1st Shift (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
Permanent:
2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM) Key Responsibilities Perform precision calibration on electrical and RF test equipment Conduct on-site calibration services and document measurement results Maintain and verify lab standards and test equipment performance Support
ISO 17025
quality systems , audits, and compliance initiatives Assist with calibration process improvements and troubleshooting Participate in non-conformance investigations and corrective actions Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field + 3 years of calibration/testing experience, OR Formal calibration training + 4 years of electrical calibration experience Experience with oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, DMMs, or RF equipment preferred Familiarity with automated calibration software (MetCal, NI Calibration Executive) is a plus Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills Ability to travel up to 20% (expenses covered) Employee Benefits Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
