This position reports to:
Process Analytics Field Service and Trai __ In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Beaumont, TX #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points. Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform. Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers. Responsibilities also include performing commissioning/start-up services, troubleshooting/repair services, and preventative maintenance on measurement and analytical equipment.Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's or Technical Degree with 2+ Years or Associate's Degree/High School Diploma with 5+ years of relative experience Strong technical background with technical skills in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of products including but not limited to flow, pressure, temperature, level meters and continuous water analyzers Ability to build strong customer relationships, to work effectively with minimum supervision, demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, and be customer service oriented Strong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% as required. Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
