This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who may have little to no oilfield experience but possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. This position includes both Shop Hand and Service Hand responsibilities, assisting with pressure testing, equipment maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and operational support at our facilities and customer well sites. Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is eager to develop new skills, work safely, and build a long-term career in the oilfield service industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with pressure testing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pressure control equipment under supervision. Support shop operations, field service work, rig-up and rig-down activities, and equipment preparation. Learn proper operating procedures, safety practices, and service standards while working alongside experienced technicians. Assist with installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing oilfield equipment. Help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and customer requirements. Identify and communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or operational changes to supervisors. Complete service tickets, inspection reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely. Maintain professional communication with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees. Follow all company and customer QHSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Represent Exact Valve Solutions in a professional manner on every job site. Job Requirements Fluent in English with effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete required documentation accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and equipment. Ability to follow written procedures, company guidelines, and supervisor instructions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Ability to safely operate company vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Willingness to travel to customer locations and other company facilities as required. Dependable work ethic and team-oriented attitude. Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be at least 24 years of age. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable driving experience. Oilfield experience is preferred but not required. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing 75 pounds or more. Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions. Ability to pass pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug and alcohol screenings. Ability to pass pre-employment and annual physical examinations. Ability to work safely and remain focused in safety-sensitive environments. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn. Previous experience with pressure control equipment is not required . We are willing to train individuals who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
