Field Service Technician

Responsibilities Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly. Install, calibrate, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, and low voltage electrical components. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure equipment operates within specifications. Operate various equipment including scissor lifts and other industrial lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory accurately. Collaborate with manufacturing teams and provide technical sales support by offering expert advice on equipment upgrades or repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to HVAC/R systems, welding (including <

Requirements class B cdl is a plus- Cat ET , Cummins insite, service advisor are programs require to know how to use Welding - stick, wire feed , air arc hand tools and power tools up to 3/4 drive and 2 inch wrenches Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical troubleshooting using ammeters and ohmmeters, and low/high voltage systems. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately for diagnostics and repairs. Demonstrated skills in industrial electrician work, including high voltage safety procedures and low voltage control systems. Experience operating scissor lifts or similar industrial lifts safely in field service settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams or clients. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities for complex machinery issues. Military background or experience is considered an asset due to discipline and technical training background. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel frequently between sites as required.
