Position Overview We are seeking a hardworking, motivated, and reliable Entry-Level Oilfield Service Technician to join our field operations team. In this role, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and operation of specialized oilfield equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong commitment to safety, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to a demanding schedule.
Key Responsibilities Field Operations:
Assist in the rigging up, rigging down, operation, and maintenance of oilfield service equipment on-site and on the yard.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Safety Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all company, client, and government safety regulations, including wearing required PPE and participating in daily safety meetings.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with crew members and field supervisors to complete daily operational goals efficiently and safely.
Documentation:
Complete required paperwork, logs, and maintenance reports accurately and on time. What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Experience:
No prior oilfield experience required! Experience in construction, farming, military, mechanics, or general labor is a huge plus.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
License/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs regularly and perform strenuous physical labor in all weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, mud).
Availability:
Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
Reliability:
Must be able to pass a rigorous pre-employment screening, including a drug and alcohol test, physical agility test, and background check.
