Job Description

Utility Technician I, II, or III Drinking water is one of the most important services a City provides. Highland Village water utility division is responsible for 100 miles of water and sanitary sewer lines as well as all the treatment and pumping equipment. As a Utility Worker, you will set the work pace in the installation and maintenance of distribution, water productions and collection lines. With a population of about 17,000, the City of Highland Village is a vibrant, family oriented community in southern Denton County.
Utility Technician I job requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Valid Class B CDL with tank endorsement within 12 months of hire TCEQ Class "D" Water Operator License within 12 months of hire Ability to fulfill physical requirements. Hourly pay and position offered is based on experience and minimum qualifications. Job Description for Utilities Tech Excellent equipment and trucks plus paid training Certification up to $1,200 year Up to $1,000 per year tuition reimbursement Health, Dental, vision, life, long term disability starting at $0.00 per month.
