Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and machinery at customer locations and job sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment and machinery. Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on-site at customer locations. Communicate effectively with customers and provide recommendations for equipment care. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues. Document service work, parts used, and job details accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies. Travel within the designated service area to support customers as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanical repairs. Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic software. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions.
