In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster recovery, utilizing your skills to assess damage, perform restorations, and bring relief to clients facing unexpected crises. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of water, fire, mold, and other damage to determine scope of work Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for restoration Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, surface cleaning, and debris removal to restore property appearance Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols Support fire restoration efforts by cleaning soot, smoke damage removal, and odor control Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project Follow safety guidelines diligently during all restoration activities to ensure a secure work environment Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred Familiarity with cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning and surface sanitation Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction methods used in restoration projects Experience with mold remediation or asbestos abatement is a plus but not required—training will be provided Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in confined or challenging environments This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in active settings and are eager to develop their skills within the restoration industry.
