If you love organizing people, parts, and priorities in a technical environment, this is the role for you. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy mechanical or electrical settings, understand how service work happens in the field/shop, and thrive as the communication hub for technicians and customers. What You'll Do Schedule and dispatch generator technicians, field engineers, and motor shop personnel. Serve as the main communication point between customers, technicians, managers, and sales. Review work orders, parts needs, and technical details to assign the right technician to every job. Track jobs from start to finish—PMRs, billing steps, warranty needs, and follow-up. Manage after-hours emergency call routing and technician schedules. Support inside sales by following up on quotes and jobs awaiting parts. Communicate with accounting regarding customers on credit hold. Partner with vendors on warranty/start-up documentation. What Makes You a Strong Fit 2+ years of experience routing or dispatching service technicians (industrial, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, diesel, etc.) Strong customer service skills—confident, clear, and calm under pressure. Comfort working with mechanical/electrical terminology and diagrams. Ability to quickly absorb technical information and relay it effectively. Previous experience working with engines, mechanical devices, or industrial equipment is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities—especially when priorities change quickly.
