Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Mitigation Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in water damage mitigation and mold remediation. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage and ensuring a safe environment for our clients. Responsibilities A technician is mainly responsible for performing the water mitigation for residential properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating "on call / emergency response" requirement.
Responsibilities include:
Visit new assignments/jobs, interface with the customer. Scope the damages, perform mitigation services, provide documentation to the estimator for approval. Develop moisture mapping and create drying-log. Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment from the property. Utilize hand tools and/or power tools to perform mitigation tasks effectively. Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes to restore affected areas. Conduct mold remediation and ensure compliance with safety standards. Clean flooring and other surfaces impacted by water damage. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as needed. Skills Proven experience in the restoration industry, particularly in water damage restoration and mold remediation. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to restoration tasks. Ability to build rapport with clients while providing exceptional service. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments.
Qualifications:
Have excellent customer service skills Be ready, willing and able to work and be available for overtime when needed. Be able to work unsupervised. Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality. Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check.
Experience:
Water Mitigation, 1 year (Preferred) Restoration, 1 year (Preferred)
IICRC WRT
certification (Preferred) Overtime and/or bonus pay for after-hours & weekend work Additional per-job bonus for Cat3/PPE work
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
