Field Service Technician

Job Summary for Field Service Technician Ulrich Barn Builders is looking for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician is responsible for repairing all products produced by the company. In addition, this position will respond to all customer requests for repairs for our custom-made sheds, garages, barns, and playhouses. Job Duties for Field Service Technician Respond to work orders for repairs to sheds or garages Make necessary repairs to sheds, or garages, including carpentry work, roofing, painting, etc. Minor electrical repair work may be required Assist with deliveries as needed Assist with maintaining sales lots shed and store repairs Respond to customers, assuring that their requests and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner by delivering 5-star customer service Must recognize and enforce quality standards Qualifications for Field Service Technician General home construction knowledge Must be able to stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 10-20 lbs. as needed. Learn Ulrich Barn Builders construction methods, support company policies and construction standards, suggest improvements and execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards Excellent attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Ability to take initiative and be accountable Must be able to work alone and without supervision Must be able to work hand and power tools Must have a good driving record and a valid VA driver's license Requires working indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions Experience/Education for Field Service Technician High School Diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of general labor/construction experience Benefits and Compensation for Field Service Technicians Medical, Vision, Dental PTO 401(k) with company match Full-time
