Job Description
Position Overview A growing hospitality and property operations organization is seeking a Hospitality Service Field Representative to support the Tidewater and Sandbridge markets. This is a field-based role responsible for ensuring rental properties are guest-ready, conducting pre-arrival inspections, and supporting the overall guest experience on the ground. The role requires a highly flexible, organized, and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. Team members will travel between multiple properties throughout the day, performing inspections, addressing operational needs, and coordinating with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure homes meet guest-ready standards. This role involves extended periods on your feet, driving between properties, and working independently while maintaining strong communication with the remote operations team. Because this position directly supports guest arrivals and property readiness, schedules may vary and include every weekend, some holidays, early mornings, and evening check-ins, depending on guest arrival patterns and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality Serve as an on-the-ground representative ensuring guests receive a warm and seamless arrival experience. Assist with guest check-ins and provide on-site support when guest needs arise. Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, patience, and strong problem-solving skills. Communicate with the operations team regarding guest needs, property issues, or last-minute changes. Unit Inspections & Property Readiness Conduct detailed pre-arrival inspections to ensure homes meet cleanliness, functionality, and presentation standards. Verify that amenities are stocked, linens are prepared, and homes are staged appropriately for guest arrival. Identify and report housekeeping or maintenance issues promptly to the operations team. Perform minor resets including tidying, supply restocking, and light hands-on fixes to maintain a polished appearance. Maintenance & Operational Coordination Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams to resolve last-minute issues prior to guest arrivals. Assist with small operational tasks that support property readiness and daily operations. Maintain a strong sense of urgency when addressing service issues that may impact guest satisfaction. Field Operations & Market Support Maintain organization of storage areas and operational supplies used by cleaning and field teams. Assist with inventory organization and supply restocking for the market. Support operational needs across the Tidewater and Sandbridge markets. Use company software platforms to track assignments, report issues, and communicate updates.
Inventory Management & Logistics Real-Time Tracking:
Maintain an accurate, "living" inventory of all essential supplies, updating records immediately as items are used or received.Proactive Procurement:
Anticipate shortages before they occur and manage the end-to-end ordering process to ensure zero downtime.Dynamic Organization:
Design and maintain an intuitive storage system that remains orderly even during high-traffic periods.On-the-Go Coordination:
Use mobile tools or digital systems to manage logistics while multitasking between primary duties. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, hotel operations, or field service roles preferredMeticulous Detail:
A "catch-everything" mindset—noticing a low stock level in passing and taking immediate action. Comfortable performing physical tasks including walking properties, lifting supplies, and light hands-on work Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with remote teams Basic knowledge of property maintenance and housekeeping standards is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle requiredTech Literacy:
Proficiency with inventory management software or mobile tracking apps to keep data accessible and current.Agile Multitasking:
The ability to pivot from a hands-on task to a logistical update without losing accuracy. Availability Commitment Applicants must be able to reliably work Saturdays and maintain a flexible schedule based on guest arrival patterns, including evenings and occasional holidays. This role requires additional flexibility during peak travel seasons when operational demands increase.Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:
$22-$25 per hour This is a field-based position that requires traveling between multiple properties throughout the day. Team members should expect to be active and on their feet for much of the workday, conducting inspections, supporting guest arrivals, and coordinating operational needs. Workdays may range from 8-10+ hours depending on guest arrival volume and operational needs. Because this is an hourly position, overtime will be paid in accordance with federal and state labor laws. A reliable personal vehicle is required, and mileage reimbursement will be provided for work-related travel between properties.Benefits include:
