Fun Location:
Multiple assigned locations within a designated district
Compensation:
$20/hr + $0.50 per mile (travel reimbursed) City of Virginia Beach
  • Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Virginia Beach, VA
  • Stumpy Lake Natural Area City of Virginia Beach
  • Munden Point Rent.
Fun is looking for a District Mechanic to keep our kayak rental stations in top shape! This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working independently and keeping equipment well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduled Maintenance (Every 30-45 days)
  • Visit all assigned locations, inspect and repair kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, and lockers. Issue Resolution & Repairs
  • Address reported breakdowns and conduct necessary fixes during each loop. Reporting
  • Submit daily updates, station reports, and maintenance logs.
Requirements:
✔ Experience in mechanical or technical maintenance (preferred but not required) ✔ Ability to work outdoors and travel between locations ✔ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills ✔ Must adhere to Rent.
