By mid-morning, you're deep into diagnostics on a multi‑axis CNC mill, tracing a fault from PLC logic to an electrical connection. After lunch, you finish a preventive maintenance visit on a Swiss lathe, bring a turning center back into spec, and coach operators on best practices. You wrap up with concise, accurate documentation on your company-issued phone and laptop—paperwork kept light so you can stay focused on the machines and the people who rely on them. That variety is the norm. You'll support a diverse set of manufacturers across the region while rarely needing to stop by our Kent office. You'll represent Ellison Technologies in the field—solving problems, installing equipment, and creating raving fans. What you'll take on Own day-to-day service across the local market: troubleshooting, repair, installations, and scheduled PMs. Resolve customer issues with urgency and clarity; provide targeted sales support and occasional end‑user training. Communicate effectively with shop personnel, engineers, and leadership. Uphold Ellison Technologies' professional and ethical standards at every touchpoint. Maintain complete records and technical documentation for all cases and projects. Pitch in with related tasks as business needs evolve. What sets you up for success Hands-on experience commissioning, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting chops—root cause to resolution.
Proficiency in:
PLC Troubleshooting, CNC Machine Repair, Electrical Troubleshooting, and Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting. Machines you'll encounter VMCs (3-4 axis and 5+ axis) Lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis) CNC Swiss lathes Why Ellison Car allowance, company cell phone, and laptop provided; fuel is covered.
