Job Description

Our expertise spans tender-handling systems, boarding equipment, overhead beam cranes, and custom sheet metal solutions through our divisions NS Industries and NSI Precision. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team at our Lynwood, Seattle Service facility. This critical role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our specialized equipment. As a key member of the service team, you will play an important role in maintaining our strong reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Field Service on Hydraulic Yachting Equipment Mechanical/hydraulic/splicing service of heavy equipment: Cranes, Passerelles, Gangways, Shell doors, Hydralift systems, and more Responsibilities Efficiently service products according to Engineering/Manufacturing documentation Facilitate lifting/rigging plans to remove and install yacht equipment, including hand signal communications with the crane operator Maintain documentation for labor hour records, work order processing, and service reporting Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics; must be able to understand, diagnose, and solve hydraulic and electric issues in the field Ability to use all mechanical tools and operate a yacht crane Ability to maintain a clean and respectful work area in the shop and onboard customer property The ability to work in a team environment is essential Install hydraulic tubing, hoses, pumps, and motors, including system testing Install electrical control and junction boxes, wiring, as well as terminate connections Test the functional performance of assembled equipment/systems for SOLAS and MCA requirements Must have an excellent driving record The following tools are required by technicians prior to employment at
