As a Medical Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of medical equipment , ensuring it operates safely and efficiently for healthcare providers. You will be primarily based in the Seattle service centre , with some travel to customer sites (hospitals) and other service locations Washington.Responsibilities include:
Carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, installations and upgrades on medical equipment Diagnosing faults and providing cost-effective repair solutions Working both in-house and on-site within hospital environments Supporting the sales team with product demos, in-services and technical input when required Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring accurate reporting of all work completed Maintaining high standards of service and compliance at all times Travel is expected (approx. 20-30% overnight), with all expenses covered and a company vehicle provided.THE PERSON
We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically and electrically minded technician who enjoys problem-solving and working in a field-based environment.The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years' experience in a repair, maintenance or technical service role Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret technical schematics A relevant qualification (electrical/mechanical) OR strong practical experience Full, clean driving licence Willingness to travel as part of the role Experience working with medical equipment is advantageous but not essential.THE PACKAGE
