Job Summary:

The Industrial Field Service Tech I/II will accompany a senior technician to learn how to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of our products (industrial machinery; such as, air compressors (5-500HP), positive displacement and liquid ring pumps, refrigerated and desiccant dryers, and vacuum systems) at various customer sites in a timely and efficient manner. Working towards being able to complete services with no immediate supervision.

Essential Job Duties:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues to senior technicians Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used Communicate effectively with customers and team members Maintain a clean and organized service area Complete the appropriate level PQS (Personnel Qualification Standard) over a predetermined amount of time .

Additional Job Duties:

Attend training sessions and meetings as required Complete timecards, work orders & paperwork legibly and in a timely manner. Organize and manage truck stock parts and tools. Some overtime work and occasional overnight travel. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to work independently and in a team environment One to Five years of general mechanical experience or One year of compressor maintenance experience.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to recognize common mechanical and electrical components Apply system troubleshooting skills Refrigeration certification preferred

Physical Demands:

Exert force of 50 lbs. occasionally, 25-50 lbs. frequently, 10-20 lbs. constantly Bend, twist, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb, stand in the active position of working on heavy industrial equipment.
