Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair CNC machine tool issues including mechanical, electrical, and operational problems Perform preventative maintenance, machine installations, alignments, and service work Troubleshoot machine performance issues to quickly restore production uptime Train customers and operators on machine maintenance, operation, and best practices Accurately document repairs, service activity, parts usage, and findings within service software systems Communicate directly with customers regarding scheduling, repair updates, and service recommendations Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve service processes Support continuous improvement initiatives related to service operations and equipment performance Maintain tools, service equipment, and work areas in a safe and professional manner Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training programs What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who combines strong CNC technical knowledge with excellent troubleshooting ability and customer communication skills. Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on CNC service experience 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine tools Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities Comfortable working independently in the field while managing service priorities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel regionally, including occasional overnight travel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in manufacturing shop environments Passport eligibility for future travel opportunities as needed Ideal Candidate You are: A hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment Comfortable working directly with customers in manufacturing environments Motivated by learning new technology and expanding your technical skillset Someone who enjoys independence, variety, and field service work Calm under pressure and able to think critically to solve machine issues quickly Passionate about helping customers keep production moving What Success Looks Like In this role, your work will directly impact: Machine uptime and production efficiency Customer satisfaction and long-term relationships Equipment reliability and preventative maintenance performance Reduced downtime and improved operational productivity Overall customer manufacturing performance If you are looking for a long-term opportunity where you can work with advanced manufacturing technology, continue growing technically, and make a visible impact every day, we would love to connect with you.
