Job Description

Reporting to the Quality and Field Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site repair and maintenance at customer locations (expected travel is 50%). This position requires a high degree of flexibility in schedule as urgent customer needs may occur. Weekend and shift work is sometimes needed due to the availability of the product. When the Field Service Technician is not traveling, processing reports or preparing to travel they will support production.
In this position you will:
Assist with installation, servicing, and repair of equipment at a customer location, often under self- direction. Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships by delivering a high level of service and exercising courtesy at all times. Schedule travel efficiently to utilize time and meet customer needs. Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot reported product failures and then perform repairs and adjustments in a timely manner to limit disruption for the customer. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Quality on Field Service projects. Investigate recurring problems and recommend corrective actions. Manage and maintain company tools, equipment, and supplies required to perform repair services. Prepare clear and concise reports and documentation in a timely manner. Attend and participate in meetings and training programs as needed. As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them. Daily communication with team members to ensure timely and accurate follow-up to any inquiries. Act as the technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and concerns regarding attendance, benefit administration, HR processes and procedures. Verify employment of employees as requested. Follow up on all unemployment cases. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Ensure all annual filings are done accurately and in a timely manner. (ACA, EEOC, 5500's). Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Mechanical repair experience and aptitude. Window and glass experience a plus along with product knowledge of AROW Global windows and driver protection systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, notably Excel. Strong communication, project management, interpersonal, and analytical skills are required. Capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions and illustrations. Willingness to travel overnight frequently and spontaneously; flexibility to work any hours of the day, including overnight. Valid driver license and U.S. passport (or ability to obtain upon hire) required. Self-motivated with a strong desire to implement change.
