Restoration Technician

Restoration Technician Absolute DKI Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damage. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to help clients recover from property damage efficiently and effectively. Prior restoration industry experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. The Restoration Technician must be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation as required Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for reconstruction Conduct cleaning tasks and general property sanitation Assist with demolition, construction, and minor repair work to facilitate restoration processes Operate specialized equipment for moisture detection, air filtration, and debris removal Follow safety protocols during all phases of restoration work to ensure a safe working environment Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper disposal of materials Qualifications Previous experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly desirable Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction skills Ability to operate specialized equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel purposes Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various restoration scenarios Join our team as a Restoration Technician if you are committed to restoring properties with professionalism and care.
