Job Description

Service Technician - Food Equipment We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual interested in building a career as a Service Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers in a field service environment. We are a food service equipment supplier specializing in the sales and service of commercial kitchen equipment, including ice cream machines, grills, fryers, and similar products. Our equipment is used by restaurants locally, throughout the region, and across the United States. We support a variety of well-known commercial food service equipment brands. Position Overview Service Technicians are responsible for installing, starting up, maintaining, and repairing commercial food service equipment in customer locations. Prior experience is helpful but not required—we provide full training with support from experienced technicians and manufacturer resources. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and comfortable interacting professionally with customers. As proficiency develops, technicians are provided with a company vehicle, tablet, and smartphone. Essential Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and current insurance Mechanically inclined with a strong willingness to learn Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (kneeling, overhead work, etc.) Ability to distinguish wiring colors and assist with basic electrical-related tasks Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel locally throughout the workday (company vehicle provided when qualified) Core Values We are looking for individuals who demonstrate: Positive attitude and professionalism Reliability and accountability Strong work ethic and integrity Team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn and be coached Respect for others Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality and accuracy Schedule Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts On-call rotation for evenings and weekends Occasional overtime as needed
Pay:
$20.48 - $26.89 per hour
